One can only hope. I haven’t been this excited about Primus in a long time and I think they have that series to thank for it. It humanized the band and truly gave you an insight into their process.
I loved watching that series. I tried to create a thread about it on das bort but I couldn’t figure out how to imbed the youtube vids.
Yea, I’m sad it’s over now. On the positive side, this seems like the type of promotion that KB might be able to get behind so maybe there’s a chance?

I feel like Ben gets the call for this run of shows (9 days away), they do some “auditions,” and then announce Ben as full time end of June.

Well. That’s certainly a tough pill to swallow. I wish Kris the absolute best on wherever his endeavors go.
After two years, I’ve finally got a handful of shows lined up and this. Well, this stinks.

Seriously, this sucks. Like others opined, Kris was one of my favorite parts of UM. I didn’t see them until '06 and all my favorite years are Kris years. 22 years of a drummer is a long-ass time. Hope for the rest of the band’s sake they get a quality replacement who can inject some new life into UM 3.0 but my interest is even more suppressed than it was.
