The show tonight was fuckin insane. 3 years in the making, can’t believe it. Def the best show I’ve seen by them, they jammed a ton more than any other time I’ve seen them. So bummed I had to sell my tickets for tomorrow night.
Set List Spoilers
So happy they played The River. It was the song I wanted to see the most, and it was an incredible version. Also, rattlesnake was probably 15 minutes long and had some really cool teases. Leah being there to do the narration of Lord of Lightning and Balrog was also a highlight, as MOTU is on my short list of favorite albums by them.
These guys just keep getting better. Looking forward to watching the stream of night 2 later this weekend.

The opener was 7-745 ish, then king gizzard was 815-945, quick 15 minute intermission where they played a song from the new Laminated Denim album over the speakers (which was fuckin awesome), and then 10-1130.
I got dropped off in Upper North at about 315 yesterday. At that time, there was probably about 50-75 people in each of the upper north upper entrance, and upper north lower entrance, and people kept filing in pretty quickly. I have never seen such long lines so early before doors before. I went in through the lower entrance and got dead center row 19. The sound was incredible and really loud.
I definitely heard reports of swirling wind up higher and it messing with the sound, so I would definitely make it a priority to get there early to get in front of row 30 or so. Especially since I live like 5 min from red rocks and just went out for lunch and the wind insane today. Not sure if that will carry over to the evening or not, but its crazy out there right now.

Yeah no kidding! Also so many RR first timers at the show. I guarantee well over half the crowd traveled from out of state, so they have nothing better to do than tailgate and wait in line all day.

Jealous of everyone attending the Red Rocks Marathon sets. Sounds like a peak musical experience. Pretty pissed at myself for not making this or the South Park 25 Anniversary shows higher priorities.
