the eponymous song is the real highlight IMO, so far
Why do I like Off-Road so much? Song is ridiculous.
Just got around to listening to new Goodie Mob. Bruhhhh @stringz @chicagostylehotdog
every now and then I hear a rap song and it just does it for me on every level
Put six rings on my fingers like Jordan, if you can’t afford it then I ain’t the bitch for ya
What are your all-time favorite rap/hip-hop albums? Haven’t listened to nearly enough. Wasn’t until this year that I finally listened to A Tribe Called Quest and 2Pac. I know I’m missing out on a bunch of other good shit, but not sure exactly where to start.
Everything Outkast, especially southernplayalistic and aquemini. Biggie, pac, the chronic (and 2001), doggystyle, and the carter 2
I like a lot of 8ball and mjg, ugk comin out hard, etc
I am not a very tasteful or knowledgeable rap connoisseur… I just like to listen to it from time to time
This is an all-timer for me.
Just skip Track #1
Fuck I love that album, so good. Food and liquor had some dope tracks too
Food and Liquor was great but this is a masterpiece IMO.
I agree.
Why skip track 1? That shit is awesome
Placement. Would’ve liked it at the end rather than the beginning. It’s a jarring introduction IMO but maybe that’s what they wanted.
Little Weapon is one of the most powerful songs I’ve ever heard.
I remember smoking weed in high school and her words catching my attention very clearly
Giving it a spin now. Love this shit
that case in the court did not defer the dream, I am still a raisin in the sun raging against the machine
I combined Dumb it Down and Johnny Cash lyrics to create a poem in 11th grade. Got a B
Go Go Gadget, Little Weapon and Go Baby are my top 3 probably.
I remember getting real stoned to mow the lawn, was listening to Hip Hop Saved My Life and it shook me to my core. Had to sit down and gather myself.
