Jams the bort literally never talks about

Yes sir, 07 was the 91 show year. Think I only missed like 20-25 shows in 07. Was a helluva year for perma ter!

Never heard this one before. How does it stack up to 8/15?

I heard 2/15 was the second best Plunger in 2019!

No offense but this is comical

Not really. A lot of the old UM SBDs sound like shit. If you don’t have a connection to those shows it can be hard to stomach some of that garbage.

Agreed 100%. Also the jams are better

Mitchell > Soundcaresser

Also BB’s vox have come a long way since then. Although I do think they’ve been particularly bad this year.

No, really. I mean, it’s all a matter of opinion.

I grew up on audience recordings on archive. Audience Dead recordings where the first song popped and sounded like shit. Phish auds where the crowd could overwhelm the band. UM matrices from 05 and 06.

To some, the overly cleaned up, pristine sounding recordings of today lack a little authenticity. It’s a concert, afterall

Imagine not listening to 77 tGD because the recording technology of the late 80s and 90s was better

Imagine not listening to 06-08 UM because of being an audio-snob

Gonna go out and say it’s an age thing too. SBD snobs are probably mostly under 33

Like, y’all grew up in a digital word, brah

I listen to more 80s dead than any other decade tbh

Thank you

You too (For not listening to the hetty jams of yesteryear)

Please tell me it’s a sound quality thing

For the most part, yeah. I also grew up on Dead tour with my parents (who started seeing them in the 80s and they played a lot of those tapes)

That’s awesome man. Do you have memories of seeing Jerry? Now that’s hetty

I like early 80s and the Midland years. And of course everything before the early 80s
