That would be legit. I am trying to build Umphrey’s thematic comps with just improv so the first step is cataloguing all the improv under themes and I have to isolate the jams from the compositions first to remove any bias from the standard song structure influencing the theme.
That one is a good one for sure. Much better than that Summer School No Comment that made it on the HoF that year.

There are some things I have on this playlist where time stamps won’t work like the R2B segment on the new list…although the Visions is a stewed out version.

I would just do a fade out of the last five seconds of the jam so the transition is more natural.

My only bitch about the show is the DBK sammie. They had a kick ass type 2 thing going and then ripcorded it for a standard Passing and then went back into the DBK. They could have left Passing off. Had they done that it would’ve been a damn near perfect first set.
Don’t let the sound quality stop you from listening to 07 and 08. You’re doing yourself a disservice.
Are you familiar with the 5.7.16 1348 from Vegas? The night after the second UMBowl they did there. That’s an atypical industrial metal dance party IMO. One of my favorite 1348s.
