Jake to miss 2/26 show

Remember when they thought writting terrible pop songs and doing 3 minute jerk off “jams” was going to gain them new fans? Bold strategy.

It sucks the Salt Shed didn’t open until past their peak. Seemed like people always bitched about the terrible Chicago venues (Riviera and Aragon), if that place opened like a decade earlier they would have had an awesome homebase for multi night runs.

I’ve told those who have the power to make things happen that a Barrymore run is long overdue

Yes plz

I wonder how they would sell that place on a Saturday. Ravinia looks like it’s selling pretty good, and it’s got to be close to the same capacity minus the lawn.

Ahhhhh

It’s over

They should stay a five piece, write a bunch of songs about doing cocaine and banging whores, actually do the cocaine and bang the whores so they’re not posers, then get Jake back

I knew it was coming but damn

They struggled to sell the outdoor in 2023. It was technically sold out but that included a lot of free Do 312 tickets being given out.

That was kinda a weird tour though with 2 openers and one long set.
Probably should have had just Eggy and a full show instead of the additional opener.

The two indoor shows sold really well. I know the outdoor venue is much bigger.

Was surprised how many seats have sold in the pavilion.

Makes you wonder what the band would look like had they kicked KB to the curb at some point.

To be fair, I think a big reason that certain songs are “rare” is because BB just doesn’t like them / thinks they are amateurish.

So, when is Jake gonna jump into this tour?

Nope, UM’s popularity declined because they did too many VIP sets

IowaCityPhreak is a fucking legend. His name is Joe. He used to manage Marco’s Grilled Cheese and Marco’s Taxi in Iowa City. He still lives in the Iowa City area and owns a disc golf shop called Titan Disc Golf, which has locations in Cedar Rapids and Des Moines. He took me on my first extended run of Phish shows when I was a young slapped ass in addition to UM gigs. Dude is the closest thing I’ve had to a mentor in my concert-going life. He is as OG as it gets when it comes to UM and still hits shows when they’re nearby. I couldn’t see Joe’s name mentioned and not express my everlasting love and respect for the man.

And we actually know each other. I was Slacker86 on the OG Bort. We met at Tea Leaf Green at the Maintenance Shop in Ames ages ago. Hope you are well man!
