Jake to miss 2/26 show

This is also part of my point. They should have embraced being a jamband more. That’s who their fans are and what they/we want. Write more interesting setlists, jam shit out, be creative and take some risks.

The whole thing just got really stale. I’m sure for Jake too.

Shit, they should listen to their 2007-2013 shows for inspiration

You old son of an onion, how the hell are ya?! I miss running into you all over the place. UM. Ween. TLG. Others I’m sure. Getting older is sad.

IowaCityPhreak. Dip!

Had a lot of good times with Joe way back in the day, glad to hear he is doing well. I still rock my Marco’s Grilled Cheese shirt from time-to-time.

Someone needs to archive all that insane NFT bullshit they were posting for a while because it was too ridiculous to believe when it inevitably disappears. KB posts about your purchases living “on chain” and shoving your crossmint wallet into your Metamask’s wallet’s ass or whatever comical fever dream it was.

I remember the Jake studio recording session during Covid. Sign up for some crypto wallet and you get access to the stream! Then probably nobody signed up so they just did it without restrictions.

Are NFTs even a thing anymore?

I assume lots of people are holding onto their monkey pictures in hopes that it will rebound.

Most NFTs have been speculation/land grabs, and the vast majority will go to zero. But the underlying technology is here to stay. Call them by whatever name but they’ll be ubiquitous in 3-5 years. You might be asking, ubiquitous for what? You name it. Concert tickets, the title to your house, memberships to anything, your mortgage etc. A token is simply a verifiable digital asset. In an increasingly blended world of IRL & online, proof of ownership in a secure, verifiable way will be paramount. The ability to engage & reward using blockchain will be a game changer.

They’re still around but they’re worth pennies. Who could have seen it coming???

Little did we realize all these years that the band kept telling Jake to stop the “Jake chugs” too, but they meant something entirely different.
