Makes a ton of sense. He has the chops and stamina to do a 3 hour concert.

What differentiates Kris from all the other drummers that have the chops and stamina. I would think the next drummer would be someone currently on the West Coast that has worked for other big acts. Plus Kris seems to be continuing to tour with Margo Price.

lmao Kris is on tour with Margo Price? I didn’t know that. Great drummer, but she can do so much better than dealing with his antics.

Read somewhere that he has cleaned up his act, no idea if that is true.

All I know about Margo Price is that she ruined a WSP show and I never forgave her so I will never listen to her

Started as a one off gig but he’s been in videos with them as recently as last week. Makes sense since they are based in Nashville.

Margo is fun and her band rips. Sean Thompson and Logan Ledger are great.

I think there’s two types of Kris Myers antics: one is doing a lot of drugs, and the other is just being a forceful personality that can be tough to collaborate with

I like Scotty but went back and listened to some older UM after the Jake news yesterday and Myers was just so damn good. The guy was a machine and could do it all.

I’ve been in this stage of acceptance lately too. The double kick drums at the end of Mail Package are something that was incredible to feel and we’ll probably never feel that again

or the last few minutes of 5/25/12 Miami Virtue (Summercamp N1)
