As a @mod, I suggest the following.

When reporting a bug:

  1. Start with a clear subject line like “Bug Report”
  2. Describe what happened
  3. Explain what you expected to happen
  4. List the steps to reproduce the issue
  5. Mention any error messages you received
  6. Add your system information if relevant (browser, device, etc.)

For reporting spam:

  1. Start with “Spam Report” in your subject
  2. Include the username of the spammer
  3. Link to or quote the specific spam message
  4. Describe why you believe it’s spam
  5. Mention if you’ve seen similar posts from this user

Or just use the report buttons on messages for reporting spam. Easiest way to handle that.

Username “leftpurple”. Nothing suspicious about their IP at glance so I admitted them. They created a couple weird threads in the setlist forum (one screenshotted above) and I deleted the user, which also deleted their threads.

Also @DiabetesCOLE @SchladopianFir just at the mods next time or report the post. That is why we are here. @stringz doesn’t need to be bothered with day to day moderating issues. He should only be bothered for admin level important stuff like the favicon being squished.
