That’s just a feeling I have, like something happened in the past few years that made them realize that UM was not going to be the huge band like they once thought it was going to be. Maybe it’s due to the dying scene for this type of music or that they made the jump up to bigger venues and it doesn’t seem like the crowd caught up. I don’t know, just a feeling.

I’m genuinely asking you how. You’re saying that (loosely) associating themselves with a shitty person is a sign that “they know it’s coming to an end” (better?). I do not understand the logic there. Ive been thinking the end is near for years now, but they keep on trucking. Would be funny if a pair of knee high boots is what finally pushed them over the edge.
More likely they will just keep imploding more-and-more, and the same five of us who love to point it out will point it out, and Stasik will keep pelvic thrusting his way through undersold rooms from sea-to-sea.

I understand the confusion, and I’m not sure I can properly articulate the feeling. Sultan is not the reason for this feeling, just another point added to it. I refuse to believe that in Team UM, nobody has brought this up to somebody with some power. How was he not automatically blocked on social on their associated accounts? If you are a band that is looking to grow, this is the easiest thing to do.
I don’t think the band is “over”, I just think they’re acting like they don’t see a future with it. They can turn it around, I’m just not seeing that passion or strategy at this point. Then again I’ve never been in a band or managed a band, maybe you need to keep a sexual predator close by for other reasons that I don’t know.
