Preparing for a tour hiatus?
They play one show (Hulaween) in 100+ day span between that Lotus co-bill and the first night of Colorado. They already have a sabbatical built into their schedule at this point in their career.
Was about to pull the trigger on hula but didn’t know tickets were like $600 for the weekend
holy shit. $521
I know it was a decade ago but I paid under $200 for the the first two Hulaweens at the SOSMP
They need to bring back a proper fall ter. This heavy January through April nonsense stinks.
I’d see 6-8 more shows a year if they toured in the fall.
Plus you need a camping pass which is like $150 per car.
Spring should be in the NE, avoid all that snow which doubtless keeps some people from buying tickets and avoid cancelling shows all together. Buffalo 22 jumps to mind. You guys are playing Buffalo in late January, what did you think would happen?
jesus, these add-ons are ridiculous.
$1,031 if you want to bring your own golf cart.
$1,031 if you want to bring your pet.
The worst part is all the SCI
lol good luck charging wooks for bringing their “service” dogs
yeah the people who abuse their dog and bring them into the pit definitely aren’t paying $1k
Yeah pretty much. Lady friend wanted to go since panic riverside got canceled. Sounded like a really fun vacation but neither of us care about SCI and the festival that much to drop that much money on the trip.
if the lineup is right, a four day festival at SOSMP is worth $600
i was shocked, but given the current market I guess that’s not outrageous anymore.
If $600 was the only expense I’d be down but add up flights, car rental, plus everything else and we’re probably dropping close to $1500 each on the whole trip. Meh.
You drive=BJs all the way down to FL?
You will not come near my “wife” at UMs Indianapolis
Don’t want to do the math but that’s a lotta BJs over a 14 drive
Worst drive of my life was to St Augustine FL for UM run. 19hrs straight from WI.
After the 2nd night I had to wake up @wiscomtonslacker to head home. He was covered in blood and woke up in a bush that night. I miss those younger days.
Bro you’re gonna need it
Yea always found this annoying. My first show was April 2008 in New Haven. Great time of year to be in New England. I have a January bday that would always coincide with NYC area shows for years, so having something to do for it every year was nice. But on the flip side, traveling around the northeast to see them during the worst weather time of the year always has been less than ideal.
