And depends on which weekend definition we use
Any consecutive days off of work up to 6. Duhhhh thought that was established in sheep already.
Naaa lets go over it in great detail again
Klipsch speakers are worth 20 dollars now. Might as well waste some company time
Baaaa. Go on
How well have the AVL shows sold? That place was packed during the last run with Billy.
So like, what do you guys see in the future for the band in let’s say… The next five years.
Are they going to turn things around? Break up? Slowly fade into obscurity?
They have to know things are just sorta coasting along right now right?

I briefly saw scrolling Facebook that it didn’t look good,. pretty much has been the trend lately.
I agree that shows have been pretty undersold this winter tour. Although I don’t know how to gauge if this means they are declining in popularity. We are in the midst of a pandemic in which I would say a lot of people still aren’t comfortable going to concerts. I would wait until summer tour and see how crowds are at outdoors shows before rushing judgement. GR sold out last summer and I was also at Indy which was pretty full too. I think you’re going to see more people at shows this summer with them being outdoors and less of a chance for infection. That’s just my .2 cents I could be completely wrong too but I have numerous friends that have sat shows out just for this reason. Hit multiple shows this winter tour and the rooms were pretty empty, but like I said I feel like this summer they will have better ticket sells.
i think it’s at a point now it’s safe to say that covid has nothing to do with low attendance numbers. especially not when packed shows are happening every weekend and mask mandates are being lifted.
I guess wait and see what summer shows attendance looks like then.
i would say a better indicator is how a show is attended in a state that basically laughed at mask mandates the entire pandemic, and also someone mentioned the same venue being full for a recent show in the same genre.
Fair enough, I mean I’m not complaining it’s nice to have some personal space at shows. I’ve also had multiple extra tickets for UM shows (wifey couldn’t make it) and I could not for the life of me get rid of them haha so maybe they are declining in popularity. I still think they’ll have better numbers at outdoor shows this summer, but that’s just me.
We talked to a representative at the shows who said that 1500 were expected on Friday and 2000 on Saturday. Last night was definitely over 2000 - UM’s walkups are always strong and that was probably especially so if word got out about mask/vax requirements being lifted. But still, oof.
Pandy is over dude didn’t you here we are onto war now…
Maybe UM is realizing the jam scene is shifting away from their style of jams and trying to get out while they still can?
They should fire their drummers and switch to acoustic instruments
UM popularity would soar if they started flatpicking.
Looks like max capacity is 7,200 and if guess they do the half-arena concert set up. 1500/3600 on a Friday night is pretty rough. 2k/3600 on a Saturday isn’t great either.
Life during wartime………
