Has UM's popularity declined?

Nah. Get your shots, wear a mask, get back to living. I just flew across the country for a big indoor TOOL show and it was the best. Feel free to stay home though if that’s what you wanna do.

damn, first I heard of the shwarma truck. That might’ve made the 5 hour drive worth it but IIRC I wasn’t able to get out of work on that Monday so the stiff drinks would be a no-go

The jam scenes popularity declined. Phish, Dead, Goose, Billy, Panic are still probably the only band selling more tix than UM, even with UMs regression. Greensky might be selling more too but I dont know enough.

I attended a 3 sold out UM shows last year given 2 were pod/drive ins

believe it or not, the stiffest drinks I’ve ever gotten at a show were at Red Rocks from one of those vodka lemonade stands.

He told me they couldn’t serve/sell doubles so I slipped him a $20 and a wink. Woke up completely rocked and covered in blood, apparently I slept through a massive nose bleed. Must’ve been from staying in at cabin at 7,000 feet because no nose beers were involved.

Pontiac was “sold out” but there was like 50+ empty pods each night. My buddy got an entire pod for $10 on stubhub.

I mean, dude says he’s afraid of a concert right now. He’s entitled to feel that way, and he can stay home as long as he wants. But there are packed arenas and stadiums right now. When does the fear end?

And TOOL was incredible, best tour in 20 years from them.

Tour opener. Cassandra jenkins is opening too. I really dig a couple of her tracks

And man those seating maps are nuts

reminds me of doing boomers before going to the baltimore aqurium in the morning/early afternoon ahead of the 8/25/05 recher theater show - then the next year pairing the smithsonian mall before the 9:30 club in the same vein
