Love hearing old stories from Dead tour like this. They’re so much better than modern day stories for so many reasons.
Its a 05/25/77 kind of day. Love you all.
Birthday vibes (years ahead), if I’m not mistaken…
The amount of dead I’ve listened to the past year has been kind of astonishing. Its mostly all 71-77 though, which I love but I want more 80s recs. I want some 87 gems, 79, 80…where your recs at fam?
Majority of my concert recording listening the past year was GD and Biscuits. Probably 40-50 for each. Which is a lot for me, but I assume that others listen to live recordings all day every day.
I probably average around 2 shows a week normally, but its gone up to like 10+ dead shows a week lately, since I’ve felt like I’ve needed to increase the medicine’s dosage
I listened to a few biscuits shows in 2020…probably 20 or so
3/27/88. Fucking do it. Jerry is absolutely scorching in the 2nd set. It’s on Spotify if you want. “Grateful Dead Download Series Vol 5”.
Dicks Picks Vol 6 Set 2. 10/14/83. Another absolute scorcher by Jerry
That scarlet fire is the truth.
Serious cocaine vibes in that eyes. I remember not liking it years ago when i first went through all the dicks picks, but I will revisit with an open mind, after this 77 show is done
It features yet another scorching scarlet fire and the Estimated also is fire.
Us blues encore is sweet. Def prefer that to a lot of endings. I’m excited
I fucking love the Grateful Dead
SHRN
I too, have listened to more dead this year than any other year before. Make for a long commute seem less long most day.
This one on this fine afternoon.
Oooo that second second set is looking rather tasty. Gonna spin this one during the hockey games tonight
Loving the super coked out Scarlet Fire. A solid tradition for tGD in the 1980’s.
Edit: I’ve been on a huge Scarlet Fire kick as of late. Been listening to every possible version. Send me your faves fam.
Something isnt working right here. Only got the 1:53 of crowd noise.
