This show has a rare GD version of Let It Rock. Was a JGB staple not GD

at least if i die i have dilligently recorded my dead obsession on the server

Iā€™m trying to listen to some Goose but RICK IS ACTUALLY KINDA BORING so Iā€™ll probably be back to Legion of Mary pretty soon.

I only know a little about Goose, and donā€™t dislike them at all, but Legion Of Mary is on a different level all together, IMHO.

That shit is straight love. Iā€™d put Reconstruction right in that same discussion. Wish there were more professional mixes of that outfit available. Jerry is a preacher of the sounds of the soul of musical exploration.

Gospel of the bearded bandit.

Without a doubt. I also wish there were more recordings.

I donā€™t think Iā€™ve ever listened to that lineup. Have a show to recommend?

Thereā€™s only a handful on youtube, you can burn through everything theyā€™ve got in a day or two. This is one of my favorites.

Dark Star>mlb>Morning Dew - quintessential dead right there.

I met Kurt on a road trip from Tulsa to Chicago for a 3 night run at the Uptown in Feb '81. He was 15 at the time of the OKC Fairgrounds show, somehow managed to sneak into the arena for soundcheck. Said he just stood at the rail, jaw on the floor, as Jerry went through his motions right in front of him. When the soundcheck was finished, Garcia stepped to the edge of the stage and tossed Kurt his guitar pick.
I always thought that was a pretty cool little story so I thought Iā€™d pass it onā€¦
Stay Grateful, my friends.
