At 46 and now married I have very little time to commit to seeing music, especially since my wife isnāt a wook. Sheāll see a handful of shows with me if itās convenient. I have zero desire to go to a festival unless it was something like Holidaze where I can stay at a resort on a tropical beach.
With regards to concerts in general, Iāll go to local shows here and there but I only have so many weekends I can take off and Iām 45 minutes out of ATL in the burbs.
Iāve done enough band chasing, completely over it.

I feel the same way. I wouldnāt be seeing Phish this summer if they werenāt playing two nights 20 minutes from my house.
And I probably wonāt be seeing UM because the nearest shows are 4-5 hours away

In DC both UM and tDB played The Anthem a couple of years ago (capacity 2.5k to 6k depending on which balconies are open). Now UM is back to 9:30 (1.2k cap) and tDB is at Fillmore (1.2k cap).
Conclusion: tDB are also declining in popularity
