Yah, I’ll be seeing them 11/9, 10, 11. Super excited for the Monday show in Pioneertown. Amazed they’re playing there again, there were maybe 50 people max at that show and that was on a Friday I think. Playing on a Monday in a town in the middle of the desert that has a population of (supposedly) ~400 people where there’s no cell service, few paved roads, and no real infrastructure is pretty crazy.

So glad I’m seeing this band 3 more times. That show was fun. A nice chill jam in Bats in the Cave, unexpected alternate version of Present Ghosts. And a treat to get a Freight Train.
Had a lot of newbies come out (just in time, right?) [including @OSUmBeaverPhreak and @swb0nd] who all liked what they heard.

What an absolutely phenomenal run. Had a great time. Can look back and wish I had see them more often, but that doesn’t change the great shows I had along the way. Gonna miss Dopapod for sure.

Another incredible show tonight. S1 was probably the standout here even though I think jam of the night was in S2, but overall the whole show was super loose and the guys were clearly just having a good time. Lots of silly moments, hijinks, and dgaf energy.

Oh also I was talking to Jaws after the show and he said that yah as they’re getting closer to the final shows they’re just trying to have fun and push the boundaries a bit. He thought last night was the best show of the tour and that tonight was just plain fun.
