Nah man. GD were way better at writing sad-boy emo songs.
I love JRAD but holy shit that 2017 set was so so bad. Spacey, incoherent jams that were either too slow to dance to or had 0 consistent beat. I left halfway through and laughed when friends said the last 30 mins were amazing. Can’t close out a fest where everyone is running on fumes on the last night with 2.5 hours of space cadet Jerry.

I’m ashamed to admit one of my best buddies I lived with has been aboard the JRAD train for years and years and I literally never listened to them once until a few months ago. It was like a giant black hole in the jam scene I was oblivious to. “Right, they’re a dead cover band. Cool, add them to the pile.” But then when I watched a show not too long ago it was like 'oh fuck they’re THE dead cover band. Why the fuck haven’t I ever listened to them?!?" The tightness of the interplay on stage, the amount of teasing/interwoven jams of songs in other jams, pretty damn nasty.

have the latest TourGags streams been splittable if you have two people signed in? i know it used to work with two when they first switched to the latest platform but it’s been a while. not sure about dropping $30 to watch band practice

Yeah I was able to share mine with another person, can’t confirm anything beyond that.
Boondocks you could, but the BB/Jake stream only worked for one person

What’s the length on these shows tonight and tomorrow? One set like Boondocks? Are we looking at like an hour and a half-ish in length?
I won’t be in for a Wed/Thurs night show, but the 1 min clip they posted on social media sounded great. Couldn’t tell if it was a jam or a new song, maybe both. However, I couldn’t watch it. Made me dizzy AF

I’ve got no issues with them charging extra money for whatever right now. If this wasn’t Covid times and they were charging extra for an extended song, I’d be livid. But I applaud them for trying to think outside the box.
Most other bands in this scene aren’t doing anything right now to connect with their fans. We’re lucky that these guys are traveling across the country to make music w/each other. If they wanna give people the option to pay extra $$$ for an extended song, fine by me. Whatever it takes.

Dizzy from the camera angles frantically changing or moving around, due to the band being ‘in the round’ & facing each other? If that’s a legit issue, it might make buying these less appealing. Just curious if that’s what you meant. I don’t have access to the social media offering you alluded to…
