It was very bittersweet (haj). Like I’ve said before, I’m not a fan of couch tour, I feel that the atmosphere and chaos of being there in GA is a key part of the entire experience and that streaming has too much attentive space. Maybe I just need a massive sound system and fellow local Umphreys fans lol.
But the news about @UMFree had my heart pretty torn up Friday, and I really wanted to get off work and drink. I’ve been alcohol avoidant since July 9th, dry since my anniversary August 10th. Last night was the hardest “craving” I’ve had. Instead of drinking, I ate hella edibles, rolled a hog leg with some live resin sprinkled in, took a Valium that my wife gave me and watched the AvL stream while chatting with y’all. It was very comforting. Very surreal and beautiful to virtually hang out with people and share joy on a sorrowful day. 10/10 couch terr weekend my friends

Decent show, I think I preferred the song selection of last years more. Big fan of Magner on keys though, he sounded beautiful on the real piano.
