For some reason I refuse to really listen to a jamband until I see them live. Have yet to hear Goose, Dogs in a Pile, Eggy, Aqueous, Dopapod for more than a moment total. Bummed I never got to see Aqueous live but hoping to finally catch Dopapod on this last tour in the PacNW in October. @sabretooth is trying to do a lot of the shows iirc so might tag along to a couple at least. Going to to skip Goose next month cause I already tried to see them in 2022 and got denied entry for being too fucked up so I wrote them off but I’d see Eggy or DIAP next time either rolled through Portland. Jambands are commitments and I already am committed to Umphreys, Lotus, Phish, Biscuits, and STS9. Hard to add another to the mix this late in the game but I could be swayed if the tunes are fresh. Happy you’re enjoying Eggy I like your tastes so maybe I’d dig it too.
You ever listen to Brothers Past? That’s really the only jamband I’ve listened to that i haven’t seen live. Caught Jerry in utero brah. But yeah check out Brothers Past when you take a Biscuits break. They are pretty unique!
Nope! I’ll have to check em out. Funny thing is I barely gave Eggy any thought when I saw them live last weekend at Salt Shed, but the set that they just played was really great!
LOL brah this is @whatsyourshowcount you are talking to. I love tracking stats brah got nothing else to do with my life at this point. If I died tomorrow my legacy would be rooted in the fact I did nothing much with my life besides see a decent amount of Umphreys shows. And you know what? I’d be ok with that’s it’s been a lot of fun. My memory bank is full of amazing experiences with amazing people in amazing places!
