Really stoked! Will be first time seeing them. Hoping they throw down and its not too emo. Seems like the live shows ive watched are pretty diff from album stuff ive heard from them. Any insight? I heard its loud. VERY small room, that is loud anyways. Makes me moist just thinking about it. Never worn earplugs to a show before, but may for this one.

They usually play a 90 min set give or take and have thrown down hard the times I’ve seen them.
They use Hiwatt and Marshall amps that are especially loud in a room with low ceilings. It’s worth $10 for concert earplugs vs the foam ones IMO. Doesn’t take away from the experience at all.

Thanks for the heads up. If I were local, I’d give it a shot, but it’s a 3 hr drive for me - too far for what seems like a longshot.
Just grabbed a ticket. Really grateful for the heads up - been listening to them alot this week and was bummed I wasn’t going to be able to see the show. Many thanks!

I’m bummed it’s moving because mid east downstairs kinda sucks but it’s cool they wanted more people there. First show of the tour so I’m very curious to see the setlist. Can’t wait.

Crazy to see Elder crush a small venue like that right before their biggest tour ever. They certainly sound tuned up and ready to go. I hope they convert some Tool fans but I could easily see them hating them based off their vocals. Barber-esque bad but they’re so good musically that they should get a pass
