Listened to the Sturgill segment. Awesome cover and BB does well wiith it, but Bayliss singing Dont Bring Me Down is offensive to the ears.

1348 without a second guitar is strange. Not bad necessarily, just strange.

You’ve heard the 2017 jakeless Albany show with Redman right? That 1348 > IC > 1348 Sammy is legendary

Sure have.

The Palace Theater in Albany served us buckets of popcorn with our drinks that night and I’m pretty sure @Albert_Ross and I were tossing that shit in the air during that segment. Shit was getting wild that night and that 1348 sandwich is forever etched in my mind.

Nice! Funny because I swear I saw one of my best UM shows that year (6/2/17). But I remember being absolutely in love with that Albany show. I like when UM sounds good lol

I’ve never heard MAFA before and TIL that I have a lot more in common with Sturgill than I thought. Excellent song.

Phil was gas.

Sturgill is the real songbird of our generation. Highly recommend starting at the beginning and working your way through the catalog. He is probably my favorite new musician to come along these past 15 years.

The album hasnt even been officially released yet. It leaked on YouTube and they already learned it, which is pretty cool.

Get Lucky, but cant remember if that was before RAM came out, or not. It was definitely when it was still brand new.
