I mean Fussy is not a great set two opener. Some of my favorite jams come out of the second set opening song and this one isn’t a jam vehicle. The Crucial Taunt abrupt ending is awkward. Pure Saturation is a good jam vehicle but right into Always October is not ideal because that’s two AFAF songs back to back; you really need to blend the new tracks in with the old to win people over. If someone who loves Umphrey’s but hasn’t paid attention has two songs in a row they don’t know, they might lose interest in the show. Educated Guess is not a good way to end at set (whereas Remind Me definitely has an end of set/encore vibe to it.)
Basically you can always find shit to complain about if you want to. I never judge a show by it’s setlist but this one definitely could rub some people the wrong way.
