I dig Mad Love. Also enjoy Make It Right. Have had some serious Lpihanies during those songs at shows before. Specifically the Hampton Beach Mad Love in 2014 and the 2016 Peoria Make It Right.

I’ve now seen the last 3 consecutive Small Strides, and have also seen it 4 times out of my last 6 shows. Fortunately the jams keep getting better every time.

I don’t even think it’s close. In the right placement, I don’t mind Half Delayed. Mad Love never! Nice pee break though

Yeah Half Delayed sounds good. Mad Love still just sounds like a forced lyrical that desperately wants to be a song

Yep tons of UM songs have great peaks. Mad Love’s isn’t any better just because it came from a jam once.

That’s honestly probably my biggest complaint about stewage songs. I guess it’s cool to hear those well known peaks at UMBowl the one time, but after that, I’d rather they just replace them with improv

Or bring back some of the shorter ones from UMBOWL IV (cough Fool’s Gold). A Fool’s Gold or a Rise to the Top sprinkled in a few times a year wouldn’t hurt anyone!

Listening to S2 on the way back and for me personally Small Strides and Reso are top tier. Reso with the soaring uplifting first jam and then the funky second jam, epic.

Puppet String and Remind Me are also kick ass

I notice on the stream Myers using stick wrap. I wonder if that was a factor. I’ve never seen him use those before. Maybe due to blisters or something and he’s trying to protect his hands?

He broke a stick too so maybe that was the same incident? Can’t remember which song but maybe he wasn’t expecting a stick break and hit his hand on the symbol?
