Yeah I’m back in on this jam after re-listening. I like the twinkly Joel shit to start then later, the peak hits hard. Also love the classic abrupt ending to Wappy into Plunger
Was this the jam you said was mids? Or was that another Wappy
I did say this Wappy was mid, but now that I’m full fluff phase again, I appreciate it much more.
Probably won’t touch my top 10 of the year but I’d be stoked if I saw it live
I’ve listened to the bliss portion of the 7.8 Wappy at least a couple dozen times at this point. I think my finger has muscle memory on the slider for just how far back to click right after they return into Wappy. I could listen to that shit on repeat for a while I think…just really uplifting UM.
But that being said, the Dillon Plunger is a much more fleshed out jam imo. A lot more going on. Size matters sometimes. The Dillon Plunger has the distance and enough interesting aspects to throw it in the conversation for JOTY imo.
That Plunger was fucking sick. That show was something.
Sometimes slightly above average size can hit the right spots more effectively than something longer. AT LEAST I HOPE THATS TRUE

Just listened to slacker. It’s very good, but it’s not JOY
So overrated
8/24 Dayville Monarchy is def on my list. Reminds me of 07 Umphreys, more organic and super soaring Jake/Bayliss interplay.
Dayville has been really good live
I finally like an UM jam and you call it overrated?! Bro…
It’s not overrated. I streamed that shit live and I could feel the vibes over the internet!
But is it better than Dillon Plunger?
As someone who hasn’t listened to Vic slacker and was on MDMA at the Dillon Plunger, I’d say no
Teslas are back baby!
Man I took a Tesla in like 2016 and it was unbelievable
I took a half of one the first night of Red Rocks this year…miss seeing the Checkpoint rolls around regularly. First time I had one was a Yellow Snapchat during the Athens 2015 shows.
The red Supremes were my fav
Hahaha honestly just being an idiot. It’s great
