Kinda getting sick of Front Porch always making it. Thereās so many other songs that they could put on vinyl that havenāt made it to Hall of Fame yet.
Most NFTs have been speculation/land grabs, and the vast majority will go to zero. But the underlying technology is here to stay. Call them by whatever name but theyāll be ubiquitous in 3-5 years. You might be asking, ubiquitous for what? You name it. Concert tickets, the title to your house, memberships to anything, your mortgage etc. A token is simply a verifiable digital asset. In an increasingly blended world of IRL & online, proof of ownership in a secure, verifiable way will be paramount. The ability to engage & reward using blockchain will be a game changer.

Forgot about those! UM usually does a good job with covers. This was a rough one in my opinion.
Release, for instance, I think they do a great job. Porch not so much. Really miss Eddie vox on that one.
The Front Porch on this HoF is pretty meh.
Bozeman Escape Goat is the clear JOTY after listening. Columbus Miami Virtue and the Detroit Mantis were nice to revisit as well
yeah, i didnāt like their porch cover. The tone of the band just doesnāt really work IMO
I thought that this HOF was going to have some Escape Goat mega song. I thought there was at least 3 really good ones, including the debut IIRC. i love most Front Porch renditions and this one had a couple decent jams that kept me bopping, but thatās because Iām biased towards the song. Mantis-Draco is actually my favorite part of the selections.
I thought so too. I would also replace that WBG with the NN from the same show. I understand a jammed out WBG is tough to beat, but that NN is much better for my taste.
I really like the WBG jam, but it does feel like a Tool rip off jam. I remember there was a Robot World from 2019 that was discussed for HoF that also felt very Tool esque
