Wish I was making it to Asheville!!! Doing the CO run in June. first time I’ll be able to make it out there, looking forward to it.
This is a really type2 heavy show. Not that any of it is super noteworthy, but it’s nice having 2 sets where 4-5 back to back songs have jam
I really enjoy the Virtue that opens this show. It sounds like it may have been planned out a bit beforehand, but there’s nothing wrong with that if it comes out this well. There are two distinct sections of bounceback (so four sections of jam total), but what really sends it over the top for me is the beautiful Bayliss peaking lines at the end, something we haven’t seen enough of lately but made their presence felt in this show.
I also enjoyed the eerie atmosphere of #5 and the “cute” segue from Whistle Kids into WBG.
