This show is really solid although there really aren’t any ‘wow’ moments, which is pretty weird since the foundation of UM improv to me is effective peaks but that’s 2021 for you. The jams are just really groovy and spacey all over this thing. I mean Spires, Crooked, 2x2, Ringo, Wappy, Puppet…so many chill jazzy jams which is nice to hear. A few ideas cut a bit short but much better than almost anything I have heard out of UM since June.
Cheap Sunglasses is a real fucking turd in the middle of that 2nd set though.
