Your response sums-up my sentiments in regards to the band in general, at this time.
The Chicago shows were extremely disappointing…kind of left me with a, “you get these shows all the time” type of feeling as well, with no shows to cure that feeling since. Definitely didn’t help that I was in Section C for the last night, the wind was blowing sound around like crazy, was near train (lol), low flying planes, etc. … but to not send it at shows like that, in Chi. not knowing what the future holds…why. #salty

Same. Enjoyed the first few streams (boondock and the round one I saw) but had such a bad time at the Chicago shows that it threw me back into full jaded mode

It’s funny I look back at my recent shows and I think I have to go back 6 years (10/25/14) to recall the last show that blew me away

What’s even funnier about that GR show you had mentioned is that I opted to skip that one and do K-zoo > Madison X2 for 1,999 & 2,000 instead…ended-up being a TERRIBLE call, as the K-zoo show was one of the worst UM shows I have seen. Glad ya missed it! Lmao. It was so bad. “Weight Around, Triple Wide” was some of the funniest, cringiest song transitions I have ever seen. Literally no energy in the room. “Pretty > Heavy > Pretty” was one of Stasik’s worst setlist experiments ever.

Oof yeah that is a rough looking run of shows but UM hasn’t played any mind blowing shows in the Midwest for years now. 1/25/19 MKE N1 was a pretty solid show with one of the best HBB’s in years IMO and it looks like you didn’t hit the all improv set in Madison or 2015 MKE Halloween run. I can imagine not being motivated after seeing that list but it sound you need to GITV (for the biscuits)
