You sound cool as fuck dude. Hope to bump into you on tour. Fuck the negativity in life, let’s go to UMs shows and lose ourselves in joy.
Some cardinals fan heckled Brendan at my first show 9/15/07 Taft, and Brendan said “what? Check your hate at the door man, we’re having a good time tonight, right people?!” And I think about that at every show
To quote the best jedi. “Your focus determines your reality” I’m gonna focus on the good stuff, process and get through the bad stuff. Life’s too short. It’s hard, but it’s great too
Funny … was listening to that Taft show a couple weeks ago. In fairness, wasn’t Bayless talking shit about the Cards first? Anyways, I’m with you on the positive vibes.
Damn right. And if the Charlotte/Richmond run told me anything: there’s awesome people out there and life is generally good, we just focus on the bad because god forbid life isn’t 100% perfection (which is impossible btw, pro tip)
Yeah cuz the reds were playing em I think lol. Or maybe the braves? It’s just easy crowd work. “Woo local team!” (I love wrestling and can call this shit out immediately lol)
Edit: how about that Last Train Home 9/15/07? Mmmmmm beautiful
I feel like I am just as critical at the shows as I am at home. I mean you can instantly tell how locked in they are/are not within the first couple songs. Same can be said for most jam bands.
Chances are I am just a little less sober at the show, which also rarely makes a difference in my enjoyment.
St. Louis? Fuck, that’s the show after I hop off tour at the Cinci show. this is a cool board, but I’m gonna be spent as fuck after cinci. Maybe next round
