Stop being positive. First Ave is a fine venue, we just generally complain about it when it’s jam packed full of people. Last night was pretty crowded. Felt close to a sell out because it had that discomfort like the 2008-2012 runs.
Why would they put Escape JOTY down as a set closer? That’s textbook set opener right there, set that table for a fire set. Not IDKWIW. I know what I want…to not see that song and see Escape JOTY instead. Morons.

Nah dawg. Both are the best from the album but I much prefer Goat. Better chorus hook and SS suffers from the UM crutch of having to return to the song after the jam. I much prefer open ended songs with improv.

Agree. EG has a much stronger chorus and better jams. The first verse in Small Strides makes me cringe.

That warm fuzzy feeling when um is consistently good again. Had a blast at the last 3 nights. So many jams, very patient over all, even lame songs got yammed hard. It was cool hearing some of the new songs too, wide open slays
