930 is a classic venue with a rich history. With that said, it sucks when it’s packed.
Fair.
Though, I’ve never had a bad experience there and I like the balcony organization and the U street area.
It looks beautiful
UM going back to the right Showbox, that’s good. That one should sellout unless something goes seriously wrong…
These are pretty much the same venues UM has been playing in these NW cities for years. Not saying this so much to bitch as much as to acknowledge finding another room a step up in the region is difficult. If the band put in more work they could do the Paramount in Seattle or the Schnitz/Pioneer Square in PDX…
Hoping that blurred date is Missoula because it makes no sense for the band to skip that market.
Silly me, they played Kettlehouse a month ago
They played Kettlehouse like a month ago…
D’oh, that’s right
Yeah but they struggled to sell out the Moore Theater. I wish they would go back the Neptune. That’s an amazing theater
I think last Market show sold out in 2018.
Neptune is a good venue in town. Just not sure where UM’s core demographic is anymore. Is it college kids? Do the kids these days want to go see UM or jam bands in general? Is playing a venue near a campus a good idea anymore?
Maybe ticket sales should only be via crypto, that will really get the hype going.
I think UM has skipped this present college generation. I imagine Goose and Lespecial are getting that market.
I don’t know how many UW kids were in the UM crowd back in ‘13 and ‘14 at the Neptune
Classic zencer
High T move right there
Sorry
Looks like there’s a date smudged out between Vegas and Bend.
Three different threads to discuss winter ter? Sure why not
