What Shows Are You Seeing

For my 6 tickets-

PJ OKC - Just emailed now to refund
PJ AZ - Requested refund
PJ AZ - Requested refund
FF AZ - Requested refund
The Who Dallas- Requested refund yesterday after the email said no refunds allowed
Tool OKC - Still shows the show is happening although the band and venue have both listed postponed.

I haven’t gotten any money back on the 3 I originally requested refunds on at beginning of the month

So far I’ve gotten $$$ back for Phish and Foals.

Awaiting refunds for Vampire Weekend and JRAD.

I have decided to not even bother worrying about refunds for UMBowl or the 5 Biscuits shows I had tickets to until 2021.

Haven’t heard anything about EOB yet.

Just received my Isbell refund. The show was rescheduled for a year from now. It never sold out so I don’t see any reason to let TM sit on my money for a year.

The only show I haven’t gotten a refund for is UMBowl… surprise surprise

I miss live music. This is the longest I’ve gone without a live show in 20 years.

:beers:

Saw two days of live bluegrass this weekend. Was nice, but idk if it really scratched the itch…

Decided to go for it. I need this. The weather looks perfect. The plan looks safe. Del’s a living legend and he never disappoints.

I saw the Flaming Lips in a bubble for my first live concert in over a year last night, and it was a unique experience.

10 rows of 10 bubbles, with up to 3 attendees per bubble. No open bar. They supply you in your bubble with:

  • bottled water
  • battery powered hand held fan
  • towel to wipe moisture off the bubble
  • sign to signal for the bathroom or add fresh air to the bubble
  • small speaker that wirelessly plays off the sound board (with additional effects)

Sounds kinda sketch but also sure it was a fun time

All attendees had to sign a 2 page waiver as well before entering. I was by myself and never left my bubble. Only people in the venue not wearing masks were the police.

Setlist was newer stuff, with a few hits peppered throughout. Hadn’t seen the Lips since NYE ‘09 when they covered “Dark Side of the Moon”.

For anyone in the NYC area I recommend checking out the app Tapped In. They provide info on all the shows you probably would want to see. Now that live music is coming back it might be useful.
