Holy shit - power lineup

I’m more about quality vs quantity these days! But I agree this is a very strong but also diverse month for live music!

Saw Leprous last night and was seriously blown away. I’ve seen them once before and don’t remember it being anything special, but i’m having a hard time remembering the last time I was so surprised by a random show. Easily one of the most impressive vocal performances i’ve ever seen

Anyone catch the National/War on Drugs tour? Tickets are like $14 on StubHub. Never seen the War on Drugs live so wanted to check them out.

Yea I saw it in Mansfield. I’m a fan of both bands, have seen the National a bunch, first time seeing War on Drugs. War on Drugs set was absolutely fantastic, definitely worth it for that price. The National are a bit more high variance depending on how hammered the singer is lol. The band is always tight though.

100s of $1 tickets for the show last night at the United Center.

I was shocked they booked that venue for this tour. Asinine

it was empty

Word I’ve seen the National a few times definitely a fan of them. I’ll try to swing it though based on your feedback I really enjoyed a Deeper Understanding and would love to catch some of those tracks live.

I saw The National not too long ago and it was awful. Left early. Lead singer stinks.

That’ll probably be it unless I have a horrible itch to see Hinder on Sunday

Are you implying that Cincinnati legend Nick Lachey stinks?

Only saw them once headlining a fest like 10 years ago and thought the same thing. Kinda boring, sad music with some drunk guy stumbling around stage

War on Drugs and the National are both boring divorced dad rock. Saw WoD last year and left halfway through. I can’t even get through listening to a whole National album, so I can only imagine how boring they are live.
