Word is the band felt things were getting stale. Kris refused to wear a different shirt, so he had to go.

The unfortunate truth is that Kris was refusing to eat on tour and using his per diem to buy shirts at Dan Flashes. His performance on stage suffered due to lack of calories and that was that.
The shirt pictured above is $150 out the door and it’s not even that complicated. I’m hearing that Joel said the patterns aren’t actually that complicated, and that’s when the interpersonal rift proved too big to overcome.
