I’m in. Very excited… was not expecting UMBowl to return this year, and last UMBowl at the Cap was one the best shows I’ve seen.

I doubt it, 2 back to back three set shows is a lot to ask of kris I feel like. Great to see more 3 setters though. This will make four 3 set shows lined up for this year already.
Maybe Doom Flamingo or another side project though.
Yes I’m sure there will be after parties, was more throwing out an answer to his potential other UM shows that weekend. I do love after parties.

These 2, RR Sunday and NYE. Please don’t say Godboner worst damn “band name” ever. I saw this set at summercamp wasn’t that impressed by it.

I highly recommend the sketchy Spanish night club where no one speaks English and the cops hang out and you’re in danger of being murdered for being dumb gringos as a legit after party spot. It’s right on the road as you stumble back to the Courtyard Rye.

time to start guessing on set themes yet? With 6 sets we gotta get improv and S2, right?
I doubt both. I do think all improv will be included and it will be similar to the new years run style, with a song acting as the jumping off point.
What’s Special Teams?
If Joel is suggesting 4 quarters must be picked does that mean there will be one “normal” set each night?
Special Teams iirc is when they have a set where they mess with the lineup of the band. Jake on bass, farag on drums, jake/bayliss duo. Things like that.
