Usually I love James Flames but I agree on this one. This is a dud
I like the colors and the art style, but the mario-esque plant as the main focus just doesn’t do it for me.

That’s a cool ode to the show location and I am sure they are badass plants, but the image still looks like a weird monster you’d see on Nickelodeon.
