This show, 20 years ago today, was a f’n blast! There was a really bad snow storm, but a couple friends & I still made the drive to Madison, and it was so worth the effort. It’s normally just over an hour from the east side of MKE to the Barrymore, but it took well over 2 hours each way. Place was super empty, prob about 75-100 people, but may have been a little more.

The 2003 show stands out big time for me as well, as it was my 1st time seeing a full show w/Myers on drums. It was such a weird feeling to have such a huge change, but obviously it worked out very well in the long run.

Yet another ‘20 years ago today’ post, and another phenomenal early show. This one was really killer & was a great follow up to the Barrymore show 2 nights earlier. That 2 show experience def helped propel me into a huge UM fan, & made me decide to start putting the effort forth to see them as often as I could manage around my work schedule. Between Madison, MKE & Chicago, there was hardly ever a time where I couldn’t see them fairly easily with a 6-8 week stretch of time, and typically a few times in a weekend. Made for a lot of tired mornings at work, but was too easy when shows were either in town here, or within 60-90 minute drive. Also, tix were nice & cheap.

This one was my 200th show, as well as Stupac’s. That was def a relatively odd coincidence when I found that out a few weeks before the show. We had a good chuckle about it & spent some time outside together at setbreak prepping for set 2. Good times, and some unique/solid material in this show.

This show, 10 years ago today, was pretty legit. I feel like 2012 had it’s fair share of heaters, and this one is in line with that. Just drove up for the 1 night w/an old HS friend & his lady. Both sets delivered, but set 2 was particularly hot!
