Today in Umphrey's McGee History

Id be cool with never seeing Uncommon again

I don’t chase it that’s for sure, but if it means they are in a sophomoric mood, then I’m game. Only burns up about 5 mins so not a set eater. Think I’ve only gotten one. Would like a Gradenko, however.

Just wante to second how much I love the 11/14/08 Dump City. Always go back and forth between that version and 8/28/09 for best version I have seen.

I was at both but don’t recall that Canopy Club one so going on the queue today. Probably should just spin those shows.

Great show. All timer Mulche’s imo

I know how much you like Phish, too

I actually really enjoyed the cactus kitchen on Relisten last week. I just prefer Stasik’s playing for um. They’re very busy with a busy bass player

You’re brave, or crazy

2005 is a great year. First year I started seeing them so I’m bias but love the setlists and playing. Gets overlooked being between 04 and 06/07

it wasn’t a huge dose, just a lil bit sprinkled on a bagel and cream cheese.

it was definitely a moving experience

Was thinking the same. Been there and it’s informative but extremely sad. Not sure I could handle it on shrooms.

I was 15. Quite different then tabby shows these days. You could run around on the floor with no problem. Tons of space for activities. Fun times.

05 is a phenomenal year. I think it has the most lyrical Stews in a year and some of the most memorable that would form a bunch of songs in the following years.

Super solid show, top to bottom. Had such a blast at this one. I’m very grateful to have seen as many shows this year as I did. I saw even more in ‘07, but I caught some serious gems in ‘06. What a great time to be a dedicated fanatic of this band.
