Those shows were fire. I’d definitely put both in my top 20 seen. 11.9 was probably my favorite show I saw that year too. First UMLives I bought were those two shows.
Absolutely, 11/9 is such a heater. November 2006 might be the best month of UM ever…11/2, 11/4, 11/9, 11/10, 11/16

I have some pics from that run Gus. Good ‘ole 11/10/06! Only show I missed from moe down on 9/2 through Jam Cruise 7. Broke my streak at 27 straight shows…bummer!
Listening back to 11/9 today…I think I actually prefer it to 11/10. Yeah 11/10 has the 4 song second set but the HBB > Higgins > HBB segment is not really that interesting.
OTOH, 11/9 is pretty fire from start to finish. Robot World > August is fantastic. RW has a very Release-ish jam toward the end into August, which has a fucking searing solo from Bayliss and then a beautiful piano solo by Joel out of August. And I forgot about that Plunger with the Mantis jam!
I am a huge sucker for UM covering Bill Frisell’s cover of Heard it Through the Grapevine, and that entire Divisions segment is incredible. The Divisions jam is a real gem (12-17mins)

Allll about the 11/9 August. The Passing fakeout out of RW is great UM too. As for the 10th, I love the space before that Hey 19. What a segment, and yeah the HBB doesn’t do much
11/9/07 was the first show I ever heard / bought with an itunes gift card. Always will have a special spot
