Goedde is also one of the best LDs in the scene. I much prefer his presence than Ben Factor.

Yea, i left the show here in town last year early because i couldnt take the same shit in every song. So i can definitely hear that evolution, which is odd, because Ben still feels like the ābetterā drummer
It helps that the guitar tone doesnt sound super hollow anymore too. That was my biggest gripe. Didnt understand how someone could have such a boring tone. Sounds great right now though

Listening to this Pancakes def shows Rick has gotten a lot more confident with his playing, but his jamming will still be the reason why I canāt go all in with Goose. Still lacks range and creativity. And their bassist will probably never have noticable improvement.
Feels like Cotter fits Gooseās sound a little better than Ben. Ben needs to be in a band that works with more dance beats and faster bpm.

Yea i cant speak enough about the range, but based upon what i had seen from him previously that doesnt really surprise me. Seems like he likes to stay in a box. He fucking rips that Pancakes though
Still havenāt seen me a Goose gig yet. They are playing a 4,500 amphitheater just outside Portland in September but thatās the same weekend as Equinox which they headlined last year but this year is STS9 so Iām trying to go. No Goose for me as a result!
I used to not like Goose. Their catalog was small and their sound was repetitive. Their catalog has grown and their sound is now more diverse. I just heard some dark Goose. Need more dark Goose.

Took 4 shows but tonight was actually a great time. Julian Lage sit in was awesome. Still havenāt paid for a Goose show but Iāll volunteer any time theyāre in town.
