At first I didn’t think the additional drummer/percussionist was necessary, but now that he is more audible in the mix, I’m beginning to like what he does. I hope the drummers start to branch out with the two drum set approach a little and start playing off each other more.

I was confused when I first thought I noticed people on two kits. Didn’t know they expanded the band. I thought maybe that was the drummer from Vampire Weekend or something.

I’m still in the former camp, but I know jam bands must have a perc guy so maybe it’s the right formula. Haven’t listened to this cover yet.

I wasn’t a huge fan of Jeff at first aside from the acoustic Peter and Rick shows, but this sounds real good now. Halloween weekend was good with him too. Some more time and he’ll blend right in and add another level like @vezdrums is saying

Heard he went on stage with Umphrey’s once and Jake almost gave him a broken guitar neck to do coke off of. Ended up saving it to give to a real guitar god who fux.

Listening back to the bingo tour. Coach is super annoying even in the recordings. Yelling and generally being rowdy. I remember watching and see him freak out about pulling balls with songs on them that actually don’t deserve a freak out. Like a lame ass cover or something stupid. Got the same reaction as “20+ minute jam” from him. Dude you’re not in the band
