What a shit show. Not holding my breath that the Philly Chocolate & Cheese show is going to happen next month.
Ween has always been a shit show. Remarkable and happy we got well over a decade of solid touring during this last stretch.

They both have a major history of substance abuse. Although I think Gene has been sober for over 10 years at this point. But they’ve had countless tours going back decades that they’ve had to cancel mid tour due to band issues and drug addiction.
I think the start of the last hiatus and the start of Gene’s sobriety was the result of a complete public meltdown on stage in Vancouver 2012 or sometime around then. Gene came out plastered to the point the rest of the band just left him on stage.
Pretty sure that’s referenced in this fine tune.

Yeah what a train wreck. It seems like he’s gotten his shit together pretty well since then. He was usually the problem before and now it seems Dean has taken over that role in recent years.

I’m only mildly into ween and was loving the show I saw last year in Madison. Was super fun. Bummer for you guys who had plans. Hopefully they figure it out
Saw them at the Crystal Ballroom in PDX when I still lived there in 2012. That show was a trainwreck, too.
