While I’m smelling what you’re stepping in, there’s something about not dealing with transportation to and from and just stumbling back to a campsite with a cooler full of beer and a lawn chair. Got a cute little solo stove I can bring too

Theres a campground right next to the Caves that has cabins too way cheaper than the ones on site. Might be worth looking into.
Smokehouse Lodge is really about the B4L debauchery after. Idk how a one night UM show would hold up

The campgrounds for the John Summit/Experts Only fest last weekend had some pretty cool pop-up DJ sets and renegade tents. Obviously this won’t be happening for UM but the campgrounds just have a place in my heart
Stayed at Smokehouse for 2021 UM and it was rowdy. Only time I stayed there though. Got a sultan solo set too (will link)

Thursdays are my only option as I’m off Thursdays/Fridays so if I want to see UM again this year I’ll be flying. Not taking anymore days off for UM this year as I have a cruise to Alaska planned for August and another in the Caribbean Thanksgiving week which both occupy two weekends each.
5/16 Fayetteville I will probably book flight tomorrow and will try to do 8/29 Baltimore unless I have to work because it is our Annual Tent Sale at work.
Super annoyed it is the second year in a row they are playing two nights in Asheville during my Tent Sale. Fuckers.
