they did away with their BYOB policy. i enjoyed bringing bottles of wine in for the two shows i saw at that venue in 2019

If you want to wait inline to get a good spot, no better than Wolftrap’s BYO “lawn” policy.

Saw STS9/Umphrey’s stop there in like '13 or something on that one-set-each tour. Had a blast. Blacked out during STS9. Older sister was not impressed by the wookishness that STS9 brought

Meijer Garden announces dates this Thursday so we’ll see if they are playing GR again this summer.
Past Meijer Garden shows have looked pretty damn good. If they play there again this summer I think I’ll make the trek

I don’t think I have seen this announced anywhere, but my FIL just sent me this. Somehow never been to The Big E even though I grew up in Northampton. Tempted to go since all my family is in the area, but flying to MA for Umphrey’s twice in one year is a maybe a little much.

I was just sent this as well and lol’d. I go to the Big E multiple times a year. Super fun, kinda trashy fair that’s really close to home. Looks like I will catch at least one show this year.
Also keep in mind it costs like $18 just to get into the Big E so UM ticket price is usually not included in it. I went to a few shows last year and there are usually resale tix for dirt cheap the day of. They are kind of strict on the pit and “seated” area, which are just metal stands so keep that in mind.

How close is UM to playing county fairs? With the 80’s rock vibe from some of their newer releases maybe they can pick up some new Gen X fans? KB is a potential genius.
