Nice it’s definitely my favorite city in the Midwest. Could definitely live there if I ever moved. Drinks are always cheap and the Riverside is the best venue

This is surprising to me. What exactly do you like about it? Think it’s a fine college town with a little more to it but can’t get myself terribly jazzed up for Louisville

Its just a nice city. Good food, good music scene, a really big late night bar area if thats your thing. Warmer weather than most of the MW. Cheap cost of living and decent economy.
Madison is nice for similar reasons.
Most people hate STL and Detroit because they are really rough around the edges, but both cool spots if you like a little grime. SImilar to Memphis.
Minny awesome in summer. Probably could be higher if i spent more time there. I dont care much for KC. Cinncy/Cleveland are ok. Midwest will always kinda suck tho. Nashville is better than most those cities.

Amazing food and booze, music scene has been getting better over the years. Ridiculous amount of outdoorsy shit within 3 hours of the city. Very relaxing vibe and it kinda feels like home since I’ve taken 20+ trips there to visit family over the years. 6 or hours or less to Chicago, Detroit, Atlanta, Nashville, Pittsburgh, Memphis, Cleveland & St Louis.
and to elaborate on the food scene, you’ve got people flocking in from big cities all over making the cuisine across the city really diverse but you still have enough of that southern goodness locally available.
