Caught them Tuesday night and had a blast. Didn’t realize going in that they were mostly going to stick to the new album, but that was definitely ok.
What really caught me off guard was that Nikki Glaspie was on drums for them. Somehow this news escaped me, and while sure, Sput is the man (as is anyone that plays with them), but I felt like she really added to the songs. I’m a bit of a homer, but was a pleasant surprise.
