2/7 Port Chester, NY - The Cap
Fucking LOL no poors allowed
That is the city slogan
This is my beef with the city. City is propped up on the service industry with no where for said service industry workers to, like, live or eat. Place needs to be taken back from the corporate swine.
Guessing Carbondale is also super expensive now? People i knew that worked in Aspen when I lived in. Colorado for a super brief period all lived in Carbondale and then commuted
I honestly don’t know, but its bullshit having to live 45 minutes away down a highway that can close during peak months to go to fucking work bc you can’t afford to live with yuppy piece of shit that want to cosplay being a skier for a day.
Its usually the same in beach resort communities. Hospitality staff run shit but dont get paid enough to even have a modest room in the area they serve
That’s where my best friend lived when he worked at a few resorts
I would rather live there anyways. Cooler people
The billionaires pushed the millionaires out of Aspen and into Basalt & Carbondale. Belly Up will be very undersold imo.
Good lord back at the Bluebird eh
The 2011 show was one of the final few true heaters I got to see from this band. Never could have known at that show that the creative wheels were about to fall off. They were on such a high at that point in career.
Your personal opinion, what was the beginning of the end, of the peak years?
Mid-2012 is when the wheels started to fall off for me. 2014 and Similar Skin time is when they stopped being one of my top-3 bands and my yearly show counts started to really dip
Sorry, i was asking specifics, and i was gonna guess the Chicagggggggoooooo debacle.
It was a progression for me. Wasn’t like Bayliss showed up on my front porch and shit on the door knob
I am also happy to say that I saw the one and only live version of Chicago
Ultimate rite of passage for a UM fan
