Excuse me if I’m being stupid with this question, but what would make this show be cancelled? I’m fully aware of the tragic ICE incident from two weeks ago, as well as the continuing protests, etc. But, is there something specific that I haven’t seen? I’ll admit that I haven’t had much time over the past couple days to stay too dialed into the day to day MPLS story. Are there some protests specifically going on right by the venue which would put concert-going folks in harm’s way?
Not to get all cliche but music and good times during shit like this is a pretty powerful act of defiance. If everyone’s safe, why not?
ICE murdered another person today, arguably more gruesome and egregious. Massive protests happening right now. Hot bed of unrest at the moment - would reco googling it today. It’s happening pretty fast
