The Haunt would be my ideal choice for a bust out on this run. Since they cut Resolution the other night, I’m hoping we get a really nice two jam monster to open up at Red Rocks. I could also go for a solid Slacker and a much needed Much Obliged. As far as new songs go, I’d love to hear So Much. I was a huge fan of Chapter 20 so anything like a Chapter 20>Chapter 21 segment with an outro jam after the debut would be sick.
Here’s a fantasy setlist that encompasses my wishlist for Colorado…
S1: Resolution, Cut Off>Phil’s Farm, Small Strides, N2F>The Bottom Half
S2: So Much>Much Obliged>Speak Up, Slacker, FF>N2F
Encore: The Haunt
If I catch six out of 12 of these songs I’ll be stoked. Regardless, I’m going to have a great time; I haven’t seen Umphrey’s since Des Moines last August. Hopefully Colorado gets the heat! The momentum is there, now will the band get in the way of themselves or what? I’m digging the recent stretch without any covers.
I’m always indifferent on prints in general but also rooting for them. Used to do tours with these brahs playing the small rooms, cool to see them really hit their stride the last couple years.
SFB, Orfeo, Visions are really the only tunes I’m chasing these days aside from newer songs or ones that have been played minimal times. Would love to catch any of the three in Dillon or Vail.
Having said that I’ll probably get my first Whistle Kids instead.
Made to Measure is the biggest thing I’m chasing at the moment. Probably won’t get it since they played it recently at the Sweetwater late night show. That one hurt to miss.
Loose Ends is probably next on my list of songs I’d love to see.
The Haunt, Thin Air, and Last Man Swerving are also on my originals not seen list, but I’m pretty indifferent about those.
